A one star hotel with four star prices.
Do not stay here. This hotel provides no comfort, no privacy, and poor service. I would rather be at a Motel 6. I have stayed in dozens of hotels around the world, and this hotel is the worst.
I am a Hilton Gold Honors Member, and I have spent three nights here so far. There have been many issues with my stay here.
1. Comfort. It has been unseasonably hot. The staff refuses to turn on the air conditioner, and they will not even provide a fan. There IS air conditioning, but they refuse to activate it to save money. They recommend opening a window. My room remains more than 26C (80F) until nearly midnight. I am unable to even sleep under the covers. Instead, I sleep above covers, nearly naked, with the windows open, and I still sweat. It feels disgusting, and this is no way to spend a vacation. I am not even able to spend time in the hotel during the day due to the heat. At breakfast, I have heard several other guests complain about the temperature.
2. Privacy. Everyone's windows are open due to the heat, and the central courtyard that most rooms connect to echoes a lot. You will hear every crying baby, every child playing, every barking dog, everytime another guest has sex, flushes a toilet, snores at night, coughs up phlegm, etc. And you will be kept awake all night by loud guests partying all night. Furthermore, other guests will be able to see into your room at night through the thin white curtain. This has made my wife and I very uncomfortable.
3. Service. I brought all these concerns up to management the first day here, and the third night. They have not done anything and refuse to do anything. They claim that they are unable, even to bring it up to their bosses.
UPDATE: I spoke with the hotel manager, Jaklin. She tried, but was not able to find another Hilton hotel in Paris for my wife and I. I have heard even more guests complain -- it seems like all the guests in the hotel are very unhappy.
UPDATE 2: Half the hotel has lost its mind. Last night, there was a shouting match at nearly 2AM between guests due to noisiness. I called Hilton, and they have heavily discounted my stay. However, I wouldn't even pay 100 Euro to stay at a place like this.
