BEWARE: Filed complaint in person, but DA s office refused to provide a control number upon request, claiming never provided one despite the form having blocks for control purposes. Never received response to file charges for assault, and my County Legislator claims to have called the DA but also never received reply. If the DA doesn t protect the public by enforcing the law, then clearly, people must take action to protect themselves and families.
