I bought a 2014 certified pre-owned Corolla from Tansky Toyota in December 2016/January 2017 and I have had nothing but issues with the vehicle and honestly, I don't even think my vehicle went through the CPO inspection after ultimately not having the vehicle for 3 months of the 18 that I have owned it and it is now in the shop again. On top of that all attempts to talk to the sales manager Mark have been ignored on multiple occasions now which is extremely disappointing and makes my business feel worthless.

5 months after purchasing the vehicle, I moved to Texas and made a 3 day road trip with the vehicle, at which it had issues on day 2 and 3 ultimately resulting in over $10,000 worth of parts and labor - the vehicle was mere hundreds of dollars from being totaled with a full engine, powertrain, and other damage. This was all caused by an aftermarket part that "wasn't caught in the CPO inspection." The repair ended up being covered by warranty but not after A LOT of back and forth/arguing about the situation with the dealership repairing the vehicle and Tansky. I was also given a rental that I had to put on my card was only reimbursed for part of the cost and that was literal months after.

The second incident occurred after body work was done to the vehicle and other aftermarket parts were discovered resulting in another astronomical $5,000 worth of damage that was initially meant to be simple cosmetic fixes.

The vehicle is now in the shop for another undetermined amount of time after the brake pad literally fell off of the car and another estimated ~$2500 of damages. In the words of the dealership I took it to here in Austin, it was caused by "some of the worst rust he'd seen" on the bottom/other parts of the car although I only had the car for a winter and half and quite frankly an Austin winter is like spring in Ohio - again leading me to feel like my car was literally not even inspected from the start.

Buying a vehicle from Tansky Toyota was the worst decision of my life financially and I hate my car with every fiber of my being now. And the worst part they have proven time and time again that all they care about is the dollar value and not the customer.

EDIT: A week has gone by and nothing has happened after being told they are looking into it, another let down. I will now be taking this review to other platforms.
