On arrival the room was ready and there was a blue Hilton seal on the door, the room must then be clean and disinfected according to Hilton rules. Besides the fact that there was one bed too much in it, the floor was filthy with stepped m & ms (including the balcony), dust litters everywhere and the bathroom really dirty. Immediately walked to the front desk and reported.
It would be arranged right away ... after 45 minutes we were back in the room. Bed was m & ms gone but certainly not mopped and bathroom was still dirty. The pool is also far from being fresh, the loosely soaked plasters were on the wall. Staff walk without uniform and no name tag. Dust and dirty everywhere throughout the hotel. The dirty sheets had still not been cleaned up for 1300 hours in the halls at 1911 on arrival.
I have been a member of the Hilton Honors for years and love to use this hotel chain all over the world and of course there are some things but this one really misses the mark. The only positive was the breakfast which tasted good.
Let it be clear that this is a management problem. Staff do their best adrift.
