2020 July Review

2020 July Review
Went back with friends, Covid regs in place, pre book entry slots (on-line) into the park (stay as long as you like) and book seperately for entry into the house!

2018 Review
We can't believe we've never been here before, fabulous place and fabulous staff and volunteers.

We were there for the 2018 Christmas Display. The House was decorated by the staff and volunteers and so relaxed, not a set dressing. We arrived later in the day and so benefitted from the low light for the decorations.

Accessibility - good for an old Hall. We saw visitors in a wide variety of wheelchairs. To access the upper floor, a transfer is needed to the stair lift (max weight 18 stone) see attached photos. Gravel approach to the house, but can arrange with the staff to drive nearer.

House, Orangery, Stables, Exhibition (Stable Yard), Cafe, Shop, Park and Woodlands. A children's room with dressing up clothes (plus some for adults) and toys. However we did not have time to see the grounds arriving late in the day but we will definitely return, and with more family and friends.

Consecrated Chapel.

Entry - see their Website or the picture attached. Last entry into the house 15:00 in the winter.

Car Park (free) - extensive and area nearer to the entrance for disabled.

Toilets - in the Stable Yard complex, including for disabled.
