I stayed at the Alyeska resort this week during a conference. The reception staff was friendly and professional. My room was large and extremely clean. The fridge in my room made a loud buzzing sound and the lamps did not have electrical outlets in the base, which is such a common amenity these days, one almost expects it. The bed was super comfortable, but the pillows could use an upgrade. The entire hotel is beautiful and feels like a hidden retreat. My favorite part was the outdoor rock fireplace in front of the lobby. The food served at the conference was all superb and the meeting facilities were ample, comfortable, and well attended to. The hot tub is one one of the best parts of the hotel, and the drive out to Girdwood is one of the best in the world. It's a great place to stay for adventuring, family time, or work.
