We decided it was time to add a dog to our family ...

We decided it was time to add a dog to our family and headed up to the Northeast animal shelter. We got there on a Monday and there were very few dogs left (never a bad thing at a shelter). We meet with a counselor and talked about this one dog. He was very honest and told us it wasn't a good fit for us. He said to come back later in the week when they got more dogs in. We came back Wednesday afternoon. We meet with a sweet puppy and wanted to adopt her but the counselor wanted us to meet with another dog. She explained that this dog was older and a better fit for us .. we thought about it and decided she was right ... So we adopted the dog and we love him and are so excited to have him part of our family.
