Update and upgrade from 1 to 4 stars: after several weeks of hearing nothing back from the company, a new customer service rep responded who promptly addressed my problem. They replaced the box of masks that didn t look right, and allowed me to select the cup-style instead. These arrived quickly, and with a free box of ASTM level-3 surgical masks! I prefer the cup-style masks quite a bit, and none appear to have the possible defect I d seen in the original box. Customer service improved tremendously, and the new masks seem perfectly fine. Still holding off one star because I don t trust the appearance of holes from the strap fusing process in my original box.

Original review: Bought a box of 20 n95 masks based on the same big newspaper article others have read. Cost a lot! The first time a mask was worn a strap broke. Then I looked closely at all the masks and discovered that on 8 of the masks, where the strap was heat fused onto the mask, something hot touched the mask itself and melted a round hole in the mask adjacent to the strap attachment point. I emailed them a week ago to ask about this and have heard nothing. Such a huge disappointment that after finally finding approved US-made masks they are of worse quality than the imports I ve purchased previously and the customer service is literally zero. Buyer beware.
