I ordered the EZbase frame online and selected the delivery option which was more expensive than just shipping the product because the website indicated that this option included assembly. Delivery was scheduled for 6 to 9 pm on a Saturday. I had other plans during the day but was able to be home by 5:45pm. Starting around 4:40 pm the delivery team began calling me. They called me over ten times and left mutliple messages. Turns out they had finished early and I was the last call of the day. When I returned their calls, around 5:05 pm, the driver was very brusque. I indicated that I couldn't be home for another 30 minutes so I was willing to forgo the assembly and just have them leave the product. He said "We are not setting this up." I was confused and said that I had paid more for that option, and he just repeated that they refused to set it up. He told me they could wait or I could reschedule. Wanting to clarify the set up issue I opted to reschedule. I realize this man wanted his day to be over and was frustrated that I was not home, however he showed extremely poor customer service and outright lied to me. I went to the metro mattress store instead of going home and the salesperson indicated that, with only a few exceptions, most deliveries absolutely do come with set up. It was too late for the drivers to come back so we rescheduled for Monday night. I asked for some accommodations given the inconvenience. She said she would have to look into that and would call me back when she was next at work, that coming Tuesday. I have still not received a call. The 2nd delivery team was exceptional. Similar to the first, I was the last delivery of the day but they were friendly, effficient, and provided great customer service. Given this mixed experience I would think twice about using Metro Mattress again. I have had good experiences with the products, but I don't appreciate being lied to or treated rudely, or being ignored when I have made a request.
