Trip of a lifetime
I booked my trip to South Africa through IWH. I was browsing Facebook one day and an add popped up and I thought, hey why not. Within 6 weeks I was on the plane, by myself, to South Africa.

It was hands down the best experience I have ever had. In Johannesburg I connected with people from all over the world who I still call close friends. We visited so many cultural landmarks and things I never thought I would get to see. At all times I felt safe and well looked after. The bunk rooms were great and food fabulous. I also opted to add Kruger Park onto my trip which I would highly recommend.

I volunteered at a wildlife sanctuary and it was beyond amazing. Without the support of iwh I never would have even known about it, let some spend 4 weeks of my life having the most amazing experience of my life. I met even more new people who I still Snapchat everyday, I spent time with knowledgeable people learning about African wildlife, and got to have so much hands on experience with the animals and sanctuary.

Before I left iwh had so many phone calls with me making sure all my needs were met and that I knew what I was getting myself in for. It was great because it was also flexible enough that I added on Cape Town to the start of my trip, and Victoria Falls to the end, so I was able to be picked up and dropped off at the appropriate airports. Also when I got lost trying to find my guide at Joburg airport, I rang iwh at what would have been 11 or 12pm NZ time and someone picked up and helped me find my guide.

Amazing experience and I would highly recommend. I d do it again in a heartbeat
