The food was good and the service was good. I'd go back. Noting the following. The maitrd was mostly friendly but didn't score full marks. When we pointed out that half the steak was inedible because of grizzled, and we made it clear that we didn't want anything other than to let them know, he put on his glasses and leaned in front of her face close to the plate to inspect it. That should not have been done at the table. It was disruptive to our party. Another one of us said she got the wrong salad, Cesar instead of tossed. The waiter didn't believe her and told her to wait while he goes to check her order. And then served the correct salad. Questioning the guest like that? The food was good. Especially the onion soup. Orders were mixed up for several people. Medium rare got medium and vice versa. And finally, the chocolate torte that I got was not enjoyable. I couldn't eat it. I know salt goes with chocolate but my first bite was cake with a big chunk of salt. That ruined the rest. There were no gestures of compensation for all the mistakes on this $1000 group meal. Sorry palmer room but you didn't make the four star restaurant the maitrd insisted it was. I would rate this a three star restaurant and come back expecting that.
