Deming Review of The Venetian I The Palazzo, Re...

First you must be prepared that the hotel services is definitely a few notch below that of other Intercontinental hotels as it was only a affiliated hotel. Calling the concierge is useless. The staff refused to helped me because she "have help to other customers". I wondered what am I to her then. When I asked for her name she actually refused. I have to remind her that it's actually not too difficult to identify her if I wanted to and she suddenly was able to provide assistance to me. Still, the items i requested was not sent to my room.
Most of the staff are clueless about the Intercontinental Ambassador benefits. Eventually I got 2 bottles of water (not 1 bottle more even though my booking was for 3 person), room upgrade (the same room category but with "view") and late check out. Which was a downgrade from when I made the booking in Jan'19.
Second, you need to be prepared that this hotel will try to charge you in every way. For example, the staff quote me $8-10 for a glass of hot water.
Lastly, i advise you to double check your bill. I have spoken to the staff multiple times that the bill was incorrect but the bill presented to me when I check out was still wrong. Monica was visibly unhappy that I reminded her that the bill was not corrected as she said she will before. Not even a goodbye when I left. Great 5 stars hotel service.
But to be fair, the room was spacious, clean and with good view of the Stripe. Which pretty much is the same for all 5 stars hotels in Las Vegas.
