Wednesday my daughter was taking me to the Denver...

Wednesday my daughter was taking me to the Denver Airport to leave back to Oregon. When my flight got cancelled do to the snow, so driving back to Colorado Springs on I-25 apparently 6 semi tractor trailers jacknifed ahead of us causing the state patrol to close the highway plus all the vehicles stranded on the side of the highway do to the weather conditions (blizzard). So being stranded for approximately 8 hr. And plenty of mother daughter time. The State Patrol had workers cut a great big chunk of divider from south bound to north bound. allow some emergency vehicles through then allowed passenger cars to head up north to Castle Rock, to Douglas County Fair Grounds where a shelter was being set up for the stranded drivers. We arrived and was given cots, blankets and food. There was a lot of people, my daughter jumped up started helping people set up their cots then she got up and helped set up food with the Red Cross Volunteers, I have such a amazing daughter I think she may have found her calling. But I wanted to thank the American Red Cross Volunteers for all that they do. For people in real life disasters. Thank you from the bottom of my heart from Rhonda Oliver and Tyra Hutton.
