I was recently telling a colleague here in Edmonton about my work experience in Holland (back in 1993) and was thinking about how nice it was to work in Hans Olykan's office. Somehow, he had been able to purchase an historic building in a very sought-after location in the central part of Amsterdam just a couple of minutes walk from the train station.

Hans arrived at work each day with a great sense of humour and I loved the atmosphere he created within his design firm.

Studio Olykan was and continues to be one of Holland's best source of creative visuals that not only look great, but are easily accessible and understandable.
