Attorney I spoke to didn t know the appropriate laws yet was arrogant and rude, not wanting to hear the facts and how they interacted with the law (as a member of the bar, I feel like it s reasonable to think I might know enough about my own situation that you d think they d be interested enough to at least listen - but nope). Was told I d get called back but they never called. The attorney who was supposed to call for the initial consult wasn t even the correct attorney - and I had been referred by a fellow lawyer and law school grad. Just plain unprofessional. I found counsel elsewhere and explained to the friend who made the referral how I d been treated. She no longer refers to this firm, or so I m told. I never even got to speak to the attorney she referred me to despite making an appointment with him and patiently waiting.
