There's many more museums in Seattle than you might initially realize, but this is one of the more iconic ones for good reason. There are a few permanent displays revolving around fantasy, sci-fi, horror, etc. that have real props from movies and TV shows. They also do a revolving exhibit around once or twice a year that could be just about anything - I've visited the current Marvel exhibit twice. They have also ramped up their events this year, making a membership for locals much more worth-while, and the events themselves vary from the family-friendly to the 21+. Halloween is also fantastic at the MoPop.
