When I was in high school all I could dream of was...

When I was in high school all I could dream of was going to GCU. When I got to my senior year that was the only school I applied too how couldn t I if it was my dream school. I started talking to the representative Steve that came to talk to our school told him I was a DACA Student wanting to become a nurse. Close to graduation it came clear that GCU didn t want me to enroll due to my status, Steve then started asking to pick a different program I told him all I had ever dreamed of was to be a nurse. My dreams were crushed then he started to make comments why don t you just go back to Mexico and apply for papers like it was so easy to just leave my family not knowing if I would be able to come back to the U.S. after that my dreams changed I stopped caring cried for days straight not because my dream school didn t want me but because of the way I was treated. I would never go to this school ever again not because I was turned down but because they have people like Steve working for them.
