ACL live is pretty great for a newer music venue. The location is good but parking (like anywhere in downtown) can sometimes be a hassle. They seem to have a good sound board tech on staff or at least a system that is high quality enough to support most bands or music genres.

The last time we went was for a conference party and the space held a lot of people easily with room to spare for both sides of the room to be furnished with catered buffet tables. You also have easy access to the bars in the W too.
