Totally incompetent check-in!

Totally incompetent check-in!
Check-in was very unprofessional. When I asked at check-in if my husband had included breakfast in the reservation, the lady said no. So I didn t go and have breakfast , but I was charged for it anyway. When I asked them to refund, they didn't reply.

In addition to the wrong breakfast information I experienced the following:
1. My husband had made the reservation for me, and the lady just refused to check me in. I had to sign up for a Bonvoy account before she even proceeded with the check-in. We hadw never experienced anything like this throughout all our travels.
2. After I ve signed up for the program, I never got a confirmation email. They pester me with advertising now, but as I don t have a member number I can t even get an online account or update communication preferences.
3. During check-in, I asked if I could book a massage, the lady just said I had to call from my room and when I did, no one answered.
4. And finally, to hide the one and only USB slot in the room BEHIND the TV is really not convenient.
The room was clean and quit, though.
