Went during the summer for company getaway.

The resort is huge. You have to drive just to get to various parts of the resort. Thankfully they do have a shuttle you can call if you're near a phone - beware that you might not have cell service to call it from anywhere!

We had an awesome cabin - clean, nice amenities, plenty of parking, and there was a bathroom with shower for each of the four rooms.

Food - keeping in mind that our meals were buffet-style (which is presumably different from what you'd normally get there) the food was kinda bad. e.g. inedible hashbrowns, tasteless eggs, hard french toast sticks, etc.

"Discovery Ridge" activities were ok.
Cool: bungee trampoline, mechanical bull, air hockey
Lame: mini golf course (the holes were just really "cheap"), zip lining (nice elevation drop, but only the one drop, and it's 15 minutes of prep & waiting for a <10 second ride).
Neutral: Plenty of video game consoles & games if you want sit-down break. Hill Tubing - 1-4 connected tubes going down a plastic track on a hillside.

There were also activities at Lake Monocan, but the lake is a 20 minute drive east of the resort. The resort also has a pool of it's own (has a deep end and everything!), so the lake wasn't that appealing to me.

Hiking was nice, though the trail maps they provided were kinda terrible - they weren't accurate and didn't give important information like elevation change.

Overall, I just can't recommend going during the summer - you can hike, swim, zip-line, etc elsewhere without having to pay resort prices, and get better food to boot. Definitely not a 5-star experience, but the cabin was great and the staff are friendly & helpful, so not a 3-star experience either.
