I had a stroke on Feb. 3 and my right side was paralyzed. No matter how hard I tried could not get an appointment until sometime in March for Physical Therapy. I would go twice a week (on holidays once a week) for 30-45 min. a day. In late May was told by my Therapist my insurance had reached its limit. No more appointments. I go to my Doctor the next week and she tells him I have reached my physical peak. Which one is it? I confront her and she gives me a completely different reason that I need to do more at home. Which she never said anything prior, in fact, discouraged this up until that moment. I am being evaluated some where else at my own cost as my health is too important and I hate liars. As a 47 yr old man, I do think the staff have a patients interests at heart, not supervised and they make poor assessments of ones condition. I am pretty level headed guy but will never go there for Physical Therapy again.
