We woke up this morning to our condo at 61 degrees (we have it set to 68)...and it's about 24 degrees outside right now. When we went down to the basement to investigate the situation, we heard our boiler making weird noises and decided to call the number listed on the boiler. A few hours later, two men arrived. They inspected the boiler and ran some tests, all the while explaining the possible issues to me in plain language. They quickly resolved the problem by flushing out the old water and installing a new part, and now the heat is back on in the condo in full force. Throughout their visit, they were polite, professional, and helped me learn a little about how the heating in our building works. Thank you so much, Cranney!
