They were able to get us in quickly, but it was a little pricey at $900 to replace an alternator with a used one. They also recommended additional repairs bringing the total to above $3,000. I don't think they were lying; the car probably could use those repairs in a perfect world. However, they made it sound more urgent and dangerous than it was. I skipped those repairs and have been driving the car for 9 months since then with no issues.

Not a bad shop, just not a good fit for me.
