After reading negative reviews on quora, I thought I was making a mistake to complete my btech here.But soon after I joined the institute my mindset about the institute completely changed.Coming here is completely worth it.I still have long three years to go here in NIT, but from my short experience till now, I can say the institute is pretty good. It is very clean with full of greenery.boys hostel for 1st years( hall 11) is the best.LIKE in every college, here too some professors are quite good and some are bad.Yeah the internet is a bit slow around the campus, but the speed is more than enough for our daily requirements.you will find many hangout places inside and outside the campus.There are around 20 clubs which makes our college life more interesting.And one of the most important point: your hunger will be sufficiently satisfied because of the presence of wonder cafe, chandu's canteen, nescafe,Roy restaurant, techno etc.
I was thinking of keeping it short, but there are so many things here which makes it a hard task.If you come to durgapur by any chance do make a visit here, you will surely enjoy it.Have a nice day! Goodbye !
