I am beyond displeased with my service from this company. I was told that I needed a new AC system to reduce my electric bill, the new system made no difference, I then had them send an electrician out to see where the power consumption was coming from, he did a few voltage tests and said "you should prolly just replace the panel" another 39 dollars down the drain. Didnt test the breakers, didnt turn anything off to see what was running the meter. After speaking on the phone with Oncor they advised me to turn off the breakers one by one to test the usage. Turns out when I turned off one of the breakers my usage went down tons. Breaker is not associated with the AC at all, so I spent over 9k on a system that was unneeded, they tried to sell me another 4k panel replacement that was not needed, and im still paying stupid high electric bills and now a home improvement loan. I feel like I was conned into buying something I obviously did not need. The manager I spoke to said he wouldn't discuss it until I could provide proof the system didn't do what they promised, upon sending the information I have heard nothing from them.
Edit: Still have not hear back even after making 2 phone calls to the company and them posting they want to make it right on here. Have been forced to file a complaint with the company that financed the work. So much for that 100% satisfaction guarantee.
Edit: Manager called back today and offered 500 refund on a 9 thousand dollar system that was totally unneeded. Stated that it was my fault they installed something that wasnt needed because I let them do it. So to date they have sent 4 people to my house, the original guy that was only supposed to do a tune up and told me my until was bad and needed to be replaced, the "comfort expert" who looked at my outside unit and said "you need a whole new system" without even looking at the inside unit and only going off of my high electric bill, (which was caused by the broken hot water heater), the electrician they sent to check the panel (whom I had to pay extra for) hooked up a tool to test electric usage and some how missed that the hot water heater was pulling 2kwhs every 15 minutes and chalked it up to "probably being a bad panel and a new one is about 4 thousand" and a senior tech who said "with the amount of insulation and new windows in this home you should be able to run a system 24/7 and not break 250 on AC usage on your bill, I cant see why they would claim the AC was the problem. Its probably the meter"
So to sum it up, I wanted a AC tune up, bought a cleaning of the entire system since it was dirty and was then told that my AC system was "100% the cause of your high electric bills" after paying for the cleaning service. They have made 0 attempt to resolve the situation past trying to just shut me up with a 500 dollar refund that doesn't solve anything. I still have the same issues I had when they walked into my home. I believe this is fraud as they sold me something under false pretenses.
