Not sure about the rest of the hospital, but the staff in the Alexander Pavillion building are absolutely ATROCIOUS! They are disgusting, rude, & obnoxious. Visiting hours are only an hour. We drove 3 hours during rush hour from Manhattan to visit a family member and got there 5 minutes after visiting hours were over. The security guard REFUSED to let us upstairs for even 2 minutes. We asked for a supervisor and he refused to call one for us. It was just disgusting. I am unimpressed & would not recommend that psychiatric ward to anyone. GO ELSEWHERE!
