Thank you for taking the time to see this review and remove the preview for Tenet from this IMAX theater. I believe families and viewers will be much more comfortable coming to this theater to see Star Wars knowing that the previews match the audience who will be seeing them. Happy Holidays!

The IMAX is usually a great place to see big movie releases like Star Wars, however tonight s pre-movie situation was NOT great. In fact it has me questioning if it s a good place to take kids after hours or for those folks who are used to waiting casually in line for movie premieres. The entire hour before they allowed folks into the theater they had a giant marching band playing Star Wars music, this is great for some fans but an inappropriate spot to be doing it. We had to stand in line and listen to the percussion and brass ensemble within a small space, this would not have been friendly at all for folks with anxiety or sensory trigger conditions because you are making the space inaccessible to them with the amount of noise generated, I couldn t even have a conversation with folks I went to see the movie with either.

Then the first preview shown was an extremely violent scene where people in an opera theatre were being shot and taken hostage by people with assault rifles, the preview went on for a good 5 minutes too, honestly it was rather shocking and inappropriate, if kids had seen this it would have been really scary for them. I think I ll skip the IMAX next time I decide to see a movie premiere, or maybe I m just getting intolerant of crazy behavior?
