What a lovely day! My only regret is that I don t actually live near Kent so the 12 month access pass doesn t help me much.
Very much enjoyed touring the Castle (get the audio guide) and bring your own headphones if you have them. The Birds Of Prey demonstration was neat (their owl is stunningly beautiful) and only wished I d had time to visit the new baby owl too.
The ferry ride was amazing, formal gardens a beautiful example of an English garden, and the grounds, picnic tables, and friendly workers made the day one of the best I ve had during my 3 weeks in Kent. It truly is lovely, and I recommend it for solo, couples, seniors, and families.
