After finding out that Hugo Ortega the owner of Hugo's, a restaurant I really like, I did a tour of his other places in Houston. This was hands down compared to Carcaol, Hugo's and Backstreet Cafe the worst of the four places in terms of ambiance and set up inside the restaurant. The place is very cramped and the tables and walls feel a little old. The place is also really, really loud, we went here for dinner and it was pretty much a shouting match just to talk at the table.

The food here was quite good though, my risotto was perfect and my mothers steak was cooked exactly to her liking. It was without a doubt the best Italian we had here in Houston since we got here two years ago. I honestly would come back here because the food was that good. But, given a choice I would actually choose one of the other restaurants that I mentioned earlier that are owned by the same executive chef.
