My experience today with hobby lobby was horrible....

My experience today with hobby lobby was horrible. I purchased an item from the furniture department and decided to grab it when I was checking out. It was the last one left and an associate grabbed it for me and put it in my cart. Another associate brought over a piece that was broken off. I NEVER once touched my item I was purchasing but when they called to ask for a discount there was little they were doing for me and a discount was not included. I was upset and left (but still bought it bc it was the last one and I needed it for a business thing I had that day). Still upset hours later staring at this broken thing I had just paid full price for I decided to cal and talk to a manager about it. Her response? "I'm sorry." I asked if that's all she had to say she said "what would you like to happen?" Her final offer was to set a tube of glue aside for me to pick up to fix the broken item myself. Um what?! I sell clothes... If A customer got a shirt that she never wore and it had a hole in it- I would not offer to send her a needle and thread! I was shocked that that's how they would handle this situation. Customer service.... Especially at the manager level.... At the hobby lobby in Farmington, NM is a joke!! Time to find a new favorite store in the area.
