We went to the Cabaret Tropicana in Havana on Christmas night 2018. We booked our tickets with preferred seating online prior to our trip. We traveled to Cuba on a cruise. If we had booked an excursion from the ship it would of cost us twice as much as doing it ourselves. Plus our seating was better. We got our own taxi from the port to the show. $30 CUC each way. Our taxi driver waited for us and brought us back. They are serious about their dress code. No shorts and closed toed shoes for men. We saw people turned away who were not dressed appropriately. Men are given cigars on arrival and women are given a flower. If you order a drink before the show it is additional cost. A 1/4 bottle of rum and a coke is included with each ticket. We were also give a glass of champagne. The show was incredible. My husband was dragging his feet about going, but her truly enjoyed it. A bit pricey but I was really glad we did this. If you have time add it to your schedule.
