This is a fantastic place to live. Don't be fooled by those cookie cutter cutout apartments across the river in Harrison. This is where you want to live in the area. Great access to the train system, restaurants and stores. The characters on Broad street never seem to let you down with entertainment as well.
The building is a historic architectural landmark to the state. It is the original telephone building of New Jersey. They did a good job at keeping original features to the building in the reconstruction process. The top floor has beautiful common areas to work, a yoga studio and a gym. To me that was a deal sealer. The bottom floor has a professional rock climbing gym, UPS store and I hope the brewery opens soon. The Amazon lockers and the front desk make it very convenient to receive packages in this COVID environment.Parking to the facility can be a little steep as it will cost you $180 (a month) for a parking spot in the neighboring garage behind the building.
I suppose it is hit or miss when it comes to noise in your apartment as I never hear any loud noise in my apartment. I mean this is an apartment building and not a private house, you do have neighbors. The building is full of a wide range of diversity within a working professional class. I have never come across any riff-raff living here. Besides what people write about the management I have never encountered a problem with any of them. They have been extremely pro-active when it comes to issues/ work orders and they always ask you how you are doing in the lobby. I will agree though with the money I spend here it is well worth it.
