National Innovation Foundation is an autonomous body of DST, GOI. The organisation works for the development of the country through the upliftment of grassroots innovation and taking the creative ideas and innovations of students to the common citizens.
Supporting grassroots innovations/innovators technically and financially is objective of NIF. Till now more than 800 innovations have been scouted by NIF and has been filed for patent.
