They ask you to write these when you re sitting there after you agree to terms. I was a cash buyer, sadly I left after I rang the bell. When it came down to my lease there was 3 payments left and a dollar amount. They were looking to make more cash on top of what was agreed. The other part that was my deciding factor in leaving is they said to get that pricing I had to finance for 5 months. That s how they make money. After asking the 3rd time what the % rate would be I was told that s between me and finance manager. Since they walked back the price on lease, I figured how the night would end with some exorbitant rate, that I didn t need to begin with. I told Mike the manager that I was out. I have almost an 800 credit score, I can t understand how a customer has a checkbook ready to write for the full amount and $600 difference which they said, hey it s only $600 , since its not their $600!

I just turned 40 years old. In my lifetime I ve purchased 11 vehicles between my wife and I. Our family vehicle demands change routinely it seems. This will be an experience that I ll never forget how screwed up it was. Drove 70 miles for a vehicle my wife liked from the photos, to slimeball sales manager with slick hair. Slimeball sales managers all walk the walk. They should have warning signs around their necks.
