Popped in to the Menil recently because I was looking for something free to do on a Saturday morning. Not knowing much about it before going, I was pleasantly surprised when I was met instantly upon entering by a huge Andy Warhol piece from his Last Supper series. I soon found that several of his works call the Menil home.

The curation at the Menil is both eclectic and concentrated, making some truly amazing collections available for FREE to a wide audience. The staff is friendly and helpful, as long as you don't get too close to the art.

Also, the greens outside the museum are a great place to lounge on a sunny day and Food trucks frequent the area.
