We have season passes and always go midweek getting there at 10 am. Lines are not bad from 10 to noon. We also pack our cooler and eat lunch outside. If you plan it right it's not an expensive day. We do not buy food at the park at all. I have found the lifeguards to be very focused. Their training must be intense as they will not look away from their area to answer questions. Never have I seen a lifeguard have friendly conversation with friends or customers. There are ride restrictions so be sure your kids know. My little one isn't quite 45 inches and can't ride certain rides.
