Joshua Russell Review of FLVS

I just finished my senior year as a full-time FLVS student through the HVS franchise. From freshmen to senior, all teachers and online courses was a great experience for me. Each teacher took the time and dedication to make sure their students finished on time. Even on the hardest season when cramming for exams and finishing by the final deadline, many teachers were able to assist and some even gave extensions (more time) prior to the final deadline if necessary. I know a lot of people left a lot of negative feedback about their "work on your own pace policy," but I'm here to tell you that its just common sense. The program is designed with some flexibility but it would be impracticable if your student was behind than the average student at a physical public school. Yes, rather I sometimes got notifications of being behind pace, I had a double life, working for the family business as well so, in most cases, it was a struggle but I pushed on. Yes, being enrolled here, especially full-time, takes commitment, patience, and hard work but isn't that what students need for be prepared for the real world? 5/5
