Review of The Glendalough Hotel

Two years ago we had an amazing breakfast.

Two years ago we had an amazing breakfast.
Based on this experience we went for breakfast again today 9/4/19.
Disappointed we had pale ( seemed like boiled) bacon, sausage, black and white pudding, grilled tomato, rubbery eggs. Bacon was cold....especially since we had to wait for the dining room to open. It should have been hot.
No soda bread. No fresh fruit or porridge.
After such a high standard two years previously it was a let down to say the least.
Although surrounded by beautiful scenery and amazing walks, we feel it should be more " Irish".
