I've had the Epic pass for all the Vail Resorts bit was really tired of the drives (save for the close two) and traffic both on and off the mountain so I grabbed a Rocky Mountain Super pass in 2013 and never looked back!

The mountain is exactly what you would expect from any other Rocky Mountain resort, fast lift, a village, local lodging and a very nice small town nearby. The difference being only 30 minutes from its exit off the 70, and you can use the mid-mountian lifts to stay off the bottom away from any congestion (and it's still much much less than most all other major resorts)!

Winter park has grown and modernized exponentially in the last 2 years as well.

As always the staff, ski school, competition school, winter park resort riders and nearly everyone I've ran into on the mountain are friendly and share a passion for the mountain.
