Just stayed at the Sheraton Mirage on Gold Coast during Christmas. Unfortunately it was very disappointing. I have a pair of brand new shoes I left in the hotel room. When I returned to my room after house keeping service I found the shoes were damaged with deep scratches on the surface. When I reported to the management. I was not offered any apology or compensation. The hotel manager Daniel Hitchenson was very unsympathetic to my situation but very generous in making false accusations against me. It was implied to me that you take your own risks staying at this hotel and they will not take any responsibility if they cause any damages.
Hold on to your dear life if you choose this hotel! Don't expect they will care!
