I've been seen by two different physicians/surgeons at their main office location and all I can say is, what a disappointment to their follow-up care and overall well-being of their patients.

I was seen by Dr. Fisher in November 2019 for issues with both knees. I chose Dr. Fisher because he had performed a hip revision for me back in August 1999, which I was totally satisfied with the outcome and it lasted for 14 years.

Dr. Fisher scoped both of my knees at the same time and repaired the torn meniscus in my right knee. After approximately 10 days I started experiencing severe pain in the right knee and I couldn't keep the swelling down, no matter how long I kept ice on it. I called the office and told them my situation and since he had a cancellation, he was able to see me the next day. Dr. Fisher drained approximately a pint of fluid off of my right knee and gave me a cortisone shot that nearly made me jump off the exam table.

After a few days, I started experiencing pain where he had given me the cortisone shot and called his office. Since he was booked and couldn't see me for at least a month, he called in a prescription for an anti-inflammatory medication which I never took. Simple reason being, I knew this pain was more than inflammation and no anti-inflammatory medication that has ever been prescribed for me over the past 40 years has ever relieved pain! Needless to say, the pain in my right knee has gotten 100% worse than when I saw Dr. Fisher regarding said knee.

I was also seen by Dr. Sigua at this very same location for cervical spine issues. The course of action recommended by Dr. Sigua was to have yet more injections in my cervical spine as the two injections I had back in 2016 were not injected deep enough. I was reluctant to have this procedure performed again, mainly due to the out-of-pocket costs and the lack of relief I had received from the previous procedure.

I went ahead with the procedure and the outcome was exactly the same as it was 3 years previously. During my follow-up visit with Dr. Sigua, he recommended a consultation with a spine surgeon and stated someone would call and set up an appointment with a surgeon from their clinic. After 3 months past, I never heard from anyone and decided to call his office. Naturally, what was stated in his notes and what we discussed were two entirely different scenarios. According to his notes, I was supposed to follow-up seeking out an appointment with a spine surgeon.

The really sad part about my visit with Dr. Siqua's office is the simple fact that they keep billing me for services rendered that I've already paid in full, and on a retiree's income!

I've decided to reach out to the Mayo Clinic and see if I can receive better care and treatment from physicians/surgeons that "really" have your best interest at heart when it comes to your overall health!
