On Feb 28th I took my cat, Rory, in to the emergency clinic. He had been having urinary problems but had reached a crisis point by the 28th. I was seen immediately by Dr. McCleary who diagnosed Rory with a urinary blockage and a bladder which was on the verge of rupturing. Rory was in surgery within a half hour.
I was so impressed with the cleanliness of the clinic and the helpfulness of the staff. I was kept informed of Rory's progress by telephone and a description of what the surgery uncovered - a small stone and debris in the bladder. I felt totally confident leaving my cat in the care of this clinic. I could visit at any time which was a very good thing for me. Dr. Malik also had Rory in his care. I found Dr. Malik to be down-to-earth and very reasonable in his recommendations for Rory's continuing care, both in the clinic and when he came home. Rory had an extended stay due to the fact that he has an aversion to pills and it would have been difficult for me to give him pills at home. During his stay he was moved to a larger cage and then to a kennel so he could move around a bit which was very thoughtful on the part of the staff. When he was discharged I was told I could call any time if problems came up. This gives you a really good feeling of security.
I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone who has an animal in an emergency situation. I cannot say enough good things about the care my cat received. The fact that I took home a healthy animal vs. the one that I took in to the clinc in dire straits speaks for itself.

Thank you again, doctors and staff! Keep up the excellent work!
