The entire visit to this veterinary clinic felt so...

The entire visit to this veterinary clinic felt sort of rushed... The vet didn't really take time to check out my dog, and I didn't have any time to talk to him about my pet or ask questions. I will say though, that I really loved the fact that they will talk to you about the reasoning behind their treatment plan for your pet when asked, because it gives patients the opportunity to explore different treatment plans.

At one point during the visit, the vet suggested my dog might possibly have canine autoimmune disease based on the small red bump on my dog's lip, which was extremely frightening to hear and popped out of no where, ESPECIALLY when no blood work had been done yet.

It turned out my dog had a very minor lip infection on his lip (probably from taking a sip of puddle water on a walk), and they attempted to administer 3 seperate shots for the inflammation, prescribe amoxcilin and an ointment (which I personally think was sort of unnecessary) and came totally out of the blue. The bill came out to a whopping $700+ dollars (this is including a heartworm exam, 1 years worth of Heartguard, the amoxcilin, the 3 shots, the ointment, and the visit), but we talked it out with the nurse and it was lowered to ~$120 for just the consultation, exam and ointment.
