Long overdue review having been a tenant with Evergreen for some time now but certainly well deserved. Property mgmt. companies are usually poorly rated and villified, especially here in Portland (Sometimes justifiably so) but not Evergreen's and, from a renter's perspective, I can personally attest to this company's outstanding reputation. The staff is friendly, attentive, and prompt when responding to any inquiries, issues, and maintenance requests. Rent is fair and reflective of the market and fees are not extravagant or inappropriately assessed. These ladies have a hard job to do- serving the customer (Tenant) well, protecting the property owner's interests, and responding to the demands of the market surely isn't a cakewalk and throw in the very personal nature of the business (We're talking about people's homes) and I'm exhausted just thinking about it. Yet Evergreen manages to accomplish all that and more and does it with a smile. On a more personal note, I have been especially impressed with Evergreen's willingness to accommodate my unique housing needs and their sensetivity toward some complex issues does not go unappreciated. So this really isn't just a review, although if you cannot tell I'm not one to pass on an opportunity for a Google review, but a thank you to Cindy, Deanna, Mike, and all the other wonderful folks at Evergreen who have helped me to truly feel at home here in Oregon. And if you find yourself to be in the market for a new home here in Portland, yes brace yourself and take a deep breath, but then give Evergreen a call because I can promise you they can make the process much less painful.
