Some of the best views of San Francisco can be had...

Some of the best views of San Francisco can be had from Angel Island, even if you don't hike to the top of Mount Livermore. There's camping, hiking and even a cafe. The State Park is accessible via ferry, several times a day, but make sure not to miss the last one unless you plan on sleeping in the island!

Overall it's a wonderfully peaceful destination, definitely not to be overlooked.
