I like their selection for the most part. Unfortunately, every single time I go to Belk, I get stuck in a line that moves at a snails pace. On those occasions where I don t give up and walk out, and I finally get to the register, the customer service agent is invariably rude and makes the most awkward commentary. I remember thinking on more than a few occasions, why are they so bad? Are they trained to take as long as possible with every single customer? They never acknowledge anyone in line or say that it s going to be a minute. Sometimes they won t even make eye contact. They all seem miserable and it makes me miserable. I wish that the managers could pull it together because I value the store sales and inventory. I just loathe going in there.
