The general exhibits are all VERY kid oriented, age ranges 5-9 I would estimate. We came for the terracotta warriors exhibit and expected something more all-ages, such as the Smithsonian or Houston natural history Museum, but that is definitely not the case. Some of the exhibits are very dated, but if you're a 5 year old kid, you probably wouldn't care... For the size of the place the ticket is a bit pricey - I've taken my nieces to larger and more up to date science museums for much cheaper.

The architecture is cool retro-futuristic and historic, it gets some really well done temporary exhibitions, but if you're an adult just skip the gen admin ticket and stick to the exhibitions.
