I was really excited to take a train ride through Napa. Although we had a good time, I was surprised at the level of service considering the train has been in business for so long. Reading other reviews, maybe it was just an off day for them. Once we boarded and sat down for lunch, the waiter seemed to be in a rush to take our order. For the amount of money spent on this experience, the food was far from gourmet and again, for the amount of money spent, I m surprised they didn t at least include one free glass of wine. It was confusing at times as well because no one was telling people what was going on regarding why we were stopping nor was there any narrative regarding the area. I m not sure what the expense of the other tours are but do something other than the Gourmet Lunch Express tour.
