Today is the first day in almost a year that I have cleaned my entire house, top to bottom, no yelling at the kids, no irritability, no need to stop from severe fatigue, no debilitating migraines. It might not seem like much to be that excited to clean my house, but it is for me. I have been dealing with severe fatigue, irritability, migraines, stomach issues and so much more for such a long time. I would tell other doctors how tired I was, or how something just felt off and would get the response "your're young, its nothing, just get a few extra hours of sleep" or "welcome to parenthood! It's exhausting". But it wasn't normal, something was off and I felt like no one believed me, I felt very much alone.
I am on my 29th day of what I like to call "Operation Energy". Dr. Sexton and Katie and the amazing office staff have been wonderful. I feel like for the first time, that I am being listened to, that I am not crazy, not over dramatic and not imagining that I didn't feel well. Key there, "didn't". 29 days into the program, and I have already noticed some pretty amazing results. Results that I never imagined would be obtainable. My goal was to better myself and my health. I just wanted to not be exhausted ALL OF THE TIME. And I can say, I am on the way to feeling like my old self. The goal of wanting energy has had some side effects, completely amazing, welcomed side effects. I have lost nearly 15lbs so far, not my original goal, but I'll totally take it. My hair is finally starting to shine like it used to. I have gone a full week with no headaches and not a single migraine. For someone who gets migraines a minimum of 2 times a week....this is still quite unbelievable. And I have been so well set up for success, that I am not starving myself, I am not constantly hungry and I am able to fit their guidance into my everyday life.
I never would have thought that one doctor (after seeing 10+ specialists) could impact my life (and my family's) in such a short period of time, and quite drastically. I still have about 3 months left to go before I am set up for full success, I can't imagine how I will feel by then.
For anyone reading these reviews, checking to see, is it worth it? Will this work? Is this going to be hard? The answer to all of those questions is YES YES YES. After my own personal experiences (my husband is the one who finally convinced me to go, he was totally right, but I'm not telling him that haha) the information and knowledge that this office has to share is worth every penny I have. It most certainly works, but only if you put in the work, stick to the directions and are open and ready for change.
I'm so happy I decided to take this journey. My kids are so happy that mommy isn't so cranky anymore, and my husband is so happy to have his best friend back.
You absolutely can feel better. You are not alone in countless doctor's visits that get you no where, and this office can help change your life for the better.
