Don t send your kids here. It once was a beautiful place with amazing leadership and people that truly care about the YMCA s mission. Over the last few years it has become nothing more than a cash cow for the Greater Hartford YMCA. My kids can attest to this as they ve found out first hand.

Jewell recently fired the one man left who cared about camping and had the passion to run the camp in favor of a yes man who s basically a lap dog and does not care about anything except pleasing his superiors. There s a reason directors hired here leave within 1-2 years of employment and registrations have gone downhill - and it s not just the ever increasing price tag.
